We Remember

Today we remember how our world changed 8 years ago, on 9/11.

Of the many people who read this blog, I think it's fair to say that we are spread out across the spectrum politically. Some of us believe in this war. Some of us do not. Some of us believe in this president. Some of us do not.

Yet I think it would be fair to say that ALL of us send love and thanks to our troops, who are fighting in a nightmare that keeps them far from family and friends.

So today, on a day when we remember a tragic turning point in our nation's history, we also send a huge THANK YOU to the men and women who put themselves in harm's way in the name of making this world safer for all of our children.

I hope with all of my being that Max and his friends live their entire lifetimes without ever experiencing the horrors that we saw as a country on 9/11.
